Fred Middleton, with the support of the Texas Cavaliers, launched the Charitable Foundation in 1989 to serve San Antonio and surrounding communities.
Since it's inception in 1989, the Foundation has donated over $25 million to more than 200 charities by working directly with the Texas Cavaliers River Parade and King Antonio.
King Antonio and the rest of the Texas Cavaliers work throughout the year in every facet of the River Parade from ticket sales to barge decorations. The net proceeds from the parade are donated to the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation, who then works with vetted charitable organizations to provide meaningful support.
