The Texas Cavaliers organization was founded by John B. Carrington.

Today, the Texas Cavaliers number more than 600 members, including generations of families who have passed down the tradition of service.

1927

The year the first King Antonio was crowned (during a rainstorm!)

1941

The Texas Cavaliers River Parade was born after a group of Texas Cavaliers saw the flower-laden boats and barges of the “floating gardens” in Mexico City.

The number of patients from Brooks General Hospital who were among the spectators at the first parade.

1946

The tradition of Fiesta medals began when the Texas Cavaliers began delivering commemorative coins to children in local hospitals in hopes of raising their spirits.

1989

The Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation was established to benefit and support local children.

Cavaliers Care: Fred Middleton
Visionary thinking, leadership, financial savvy, and generosity have guided the life and career of longtime Texas Cavalier Fred W. Middleton, Chairman Emeritus and founder of Sendero Wealth Management, LLC. These traits led Fred to create the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation in 1989.
