Each year The Texas Cavaliers review applications from charitable organizations to be selected as a 'designated charity' by the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation (TCCF) for that year.

The goal of the Cavaliers is to generate as much exposure for these chosen organizations as possible. A selected charity will receive:

• a half-page ad in the River Parade program, a highlight of the San Antonio Fiesta, at no charge.
• participation in the Matching Donation Funds program.
• discounted tickets for the River Parade.
• participation in the Check Presentation event each year.
