Our community’s charitable organizations are hurting. Cancellations of Fiesta and other fundraising events that support area non-profits are causing desperate budget upheavals – and impacting children of every age and numerous needs.

The Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation is asking all grant seekers to submit an application for our 2021 Grant Cycle. That schedule is:

  • Applications for Program funding are due April 1, 2020 extended to April 22, 2020*
  • Notifications for Program funding are sent out in June 2020
  • Checks for Program funding are distributed in April 2021

* Knowing this unprecedented time is putting additional stress on our non-profit partners, we are extending the deadline for grant submissions.

  • Applications for Capital Projects are due June 1, 2020
  • Notifications and funding for Capital Projects will be made before December 31, 2020

More information about how to apply can be found within the Apply for a Grant page. Please feel free to email Shannon Nisbet, Development Director at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with any questions.

In 2019, $1.5M in TCCF funding provided critical support to 69 non-profits that serve children. Education, arts, culture, medicine, science, social services, and youth enrichment projects are among the services we fund. This issue, we introduce three agencies that are doing tough work with children and youth to abate their suffering and guide them toward lives of hope, health, and safety. These selfless organizations are making a difference. Their work is arduous, innovative, and critical to the children who are the beneficiaries.
