Texas Cavaliers River Parade
One-of-a-kind celebration of San Antonio and its people

2021 Parade postponed

The Fiesta Commission and the City of San Antonio have determined that it is safest for our community to push Fiesta back a few months this year. We fully support this decision.

Please mark your calendars for Monday, June 21, 2021. We will continue to honor last year’s tickets. This will mark the longest stretch of planning for any River Parade in our history, which just means we’ll make it our best yet when the time comes.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you in person again when it’s safe to do so.

-- King Antonio XCVIII Phillip Peacock Bakke, Commander Barton T. Simpson and 2020 River Parade Marshal Paul A. Rohlfs, Jr.

20/20 Vision parade cancelled

While it’s unfortunate we will not be able to celebrate the Texas Cavaliers River Parade with you this year, the health and safety of our community is something we wholeheartedly support.

The Texas Cavaliers and the Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation previously donated $300,000 to 68 charities in mid-March when the pandemic first struck San Antonio. We were honored to help these nonprofits at their immediate time of need. Despite this year’s River Parade cancellation, we are committed to giving over $2 million in 2020 to charities that support local children. This is made possible by the generosity of our partners, sponsors, members, and you! If you previously purchased tickets for the 20/20 Vision River Parade, those tickets will be good for our parade in April 2021.

This year isn’t over for us. In order to continue our financial support, planning is underway to bridge the financial gap created by a lost parade. Our organization and Charitable Foundation will work to ensure our charities are not negatively impacted by the loss of Fiesta 2020. We still hope to spread some magic this fall in festive, but safe ways. Stay tuned for ways you can help us. For now, thank you to the community, partners and sponsors for their support of our mission and the Texas Cavaliers River Parade.
